This Chesterfield kitchen started out as a husband surprising his wife with the gift of design time for her birthday. His intention was for her to dream up their “future kitchen” … to be completed a few years down the road; however, one thing lead to another and after the design was completed, they moved forward with the whole project. Walls were moved and the layout was re-arranged to allow them better use of the space. The result- a new kitchen, a new powder room, and an entry storage nook that was not previously there. The kitchen features stained cabinets with raised panel doors around the perimeter, as well as a painted island that seats five. All the counter tops are quartz, which compliments the glass backsplash tile, and the fixtures are oil rubbed bronze.
