Capital Landing Kitchen

Project Date: 2017

Chesterfield, MO

This Chesterfield home once had a tiny kitchen that backed up to a long and awkward laundry room, neither of which worked with the owner’s lifestyle. After tearing down a wall and reconfiguring the layout, you’d never guess things were once so different. While the kitchen contains mostly white custom cabinets with inset doors, the dry bar inspired by Pottery Barn adds a touch of warmth. There are many special elements in this design including, cremone bolt hardware on the dry bar, sconces on the range wall and over the sink, and an extra thick island counter top. Family cook-offs now take place at the two 30” slide in ranges situated underneath the large wood hood and pot filler; and spectators can watch from either the eat-in island or the large kitchen table off to the side.
